A great Bluegrass band from Central Maine. Formed in June, at the Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival, the NitPickers got off to a great start this summer by playing onstage at White's Beach, Paul Bunyan, Acres of Wildlife and the fall Blistered Fingers Bluegrass festivals. With impressive harmonies and raw enthusiasm, they created a buzz in bluegrass circles that they hope to expand on in the coming years. The NitPickers play Traditional and Original bluegrass and Newgrass. They have both veteran and up and coming bluegrass players in the band and their vocals are not to be missed.

Members are Don Bernier on fiddle, mandolin, guitar and vocals, Jane on guitar and vocals, Rich Bernier on guitar, dobro, and vocals, and Woody Woods on bass and vocals.
